Classes

CrossFit strength skill conditioning


Our CrossFit classes are designed to fit all athletes, no matter their experience level. We believe that any workout can be adjusted to fit your unique needs. Hour long classes include skill practice, strength work and fast-paced metabolic conditioning. Classes are limited to 12 athletes at a time to maximize your contact with our experienced coaches.

Body Adapt wellness and fitness


Body Adapt is our 6-week, 3x per week, beginner athlete program. In Sunday evening Nutrition class with Emma Vasseur, MA, NBC-HWC, you will complete a short nutrition challenge and learn about eating well for your body. Tuesday and Thursday fitness classes teach you the foundations of strength and conditioning in a fun and welcoming environment. Whatever your goals and needs, our coaches will accommodate you!

Group Nutrition group nutrition for wellbeing


Subjects range from optimal digestion to how blood sugar regulation works and beyond. We focus on food and lifestyle choices that are essential to you–leaving the extra, stressful stuff behind for a few weeks. If you‘ve been wanting to learn more about nutrition, recognize how foods affect how you feel, get better sleep, lose extra weight or generally just feel GOOD--you know what to do! Next session starts April 15th.

Mobility mobility for athletes


Our Mobility program combines the joy and connection of a yin yoga practice with the practicality of mobility for athletes. We focus on creating long-lasting change in the body through holding positions that alter the fascia and improve positioning. Solcana believes that high-level strength and skill can only be achieved through a combination of stability and flexibility, and our mobility program is proof.

Outdoor get fit outside


Solcana outdoor classes are a big, well-rounded mix of fitness elements. We use the entire park to do various types of resistance training, work on cardio capacity/endurance, build up speed and strength, and have a ton of fun! Every workout will be different, and there’s always something exciting in store.

[Em]Power Strength strength gym program


[Em]Power strength is a 5-week series is built for folks who workout on their own, but want to learn the basics of strength training from a professional coach. As an [Em]Power athlete, you will learn technique, improve the safety and efficacy of your lifting, and walk away with a 6-week program you can use to train on your own. Each week we will also introduce you to self-care practices that you can use at home to bring balance into your life.  

Kids fitness for kids


Solca-Tots is a fun fitness program for ages 3-5. Kids learn to tumble, make shapes, play games, move like animals, and burn off some energy while they practice coordination, large motor skills, and balance.

Athena League is our group class for ages 6-12. Kids practice functional movements, gymnastics skills, and conditioning in an encouraging and non-competitive environment. Scaling is always provided so that everyone can participate fully!

We play games with friends while promoting body positivity and a lifelong love of fitness. All kids classes take place on Saturday mornings.

Teens teens get fit


Solcana teens strength team is a class just for teens who want to workout and get strong! Through our team, teens will learn and advance their knowledge of a technical skill as well as work on fitness. Teens will learn how to lift weights in a fun, welcoming environment under the supervision of a professional coach.

Powerlifting strength


Our powerlifting team meets twice per week under the guidance of Coach Michael Sampson. Powerlifting athletes receive additional programming to train the deadlift, bench press and back squat in order to compete in local meets. Open to everyone, our powerlifting athletes range from record-holding lifters to those who are brand new to the sport.

Weightlifting strength


Our Olympic Weightlifting team meets twice per week under the guidance of Coach Jennifer Hsia. Olympic Weightlifting athletes receive additional programming to train the snatch and clean and jerk, in order to compete in local meets. Open to everyone, our Olympic Weightlifting athletes range from experienced veteran lifters to brand new athletes just looking to improve their technique.
