Being the only one-stop, full-circle approach of its kind in the Twin Cities, we believe this is one of the reasons Solcana stands out from the pack. Services

Group Nutrition group nutrition for wellbeing


The Essential You Programs are our group nutrition classes taught by nutritional therapist Lucia Hawley. Subjects range from optimal digestion to how blood sugar regulation works and beyond. We focus on food and lifestyle choices that are essential to you–leaving the extra, stressful stuff behind for a few weeks. If you‘ve been wanting to learn more about nutrition, recognize how foods affect how you feel, get better sleep, lose extra weight or generally just feel GOOD--you know what to do!

Work one-on-one with nutritional therapist Lucia Hawley on your individual health, wellness and fitness goals. Receive personalized nutritional care when you work with Lucia to focus on addressing any underlying health imbalances--not just symptom management. Learn how to recognize what your unique body needs with Lucia there by your side at each step.

Body Adapt wellness and fitness


Body Adapt is our group movement and nutrition program designed for anyone looking to learn how they can incorporate both functional movement and the principles of healthful nutrition in a safe, fun and welcoming environment. This six-week class series combines foundational movement patterns using your own body weight as well as builds core strength, coupled with weeklynutrition sessions where we learn the foundations of health and nutrition and why this combination is so empowering. Throughout the program everyone completes a whole, fresh foods nutrition challenge, which puts into practice everything we learn in class! 2017 SESSION DATES:

  • Early Fall: September 10th – October 15th

Meditation guided mindfulness


Solcana Wellness holds space for weekly guided meditations. Practicing mindful meditation is an opportunity to wake up to the present moment and learn to be open and at ease with the ebb and flow of life. It’s also an opportunity to quiet the noise of our busy lives. Mindfulness, by basic definition, is paying attention on purpose moment to moment without judgement. In order to cultivate mindfulness in our daily lives, we must first practice! Like any other skill (think pull-ups, box-jumps, etc.), consistent practice and dedication get you from where you are now to where you want to be.

Massage massage services


Solcana houses two wonderful massage therapists: Kit Newton and Alyssa Hill. Their services are available to Solcana members and non-members alike. Learn more about them and book appointments through their website.

Workshops workshop your well-being


We offer monthly wellness workshops which span a range of subjects geared towards supporting your health from every angle. Previous workshops have included subjects such as acupuncture sessions, kombucha brewing, vegetable fermentation, creating fire cider, and so much more!
